Interacta
A social feed where every post is something you can play: swipe up, and the next mini-game, puzzle or learning tool fills the screen.

The problem
Short-video feeds are great at holding attention and bad at giving anything back. I wanted the same swipe, but where each card is interactive: you play it, solve it or learn something from it, instead of just watching.
What I built
- A vertical, full-screen swipe feed of playable 2D widgets: mini-games, puzzles and educational tools.
- Sign-up, login and an onboarding flow.
- A recommendation feed that picks what to show next.
- An installable progressive web app, designed for phones first.
How it works
- Frontend: React and Tailwind, built mobile-first as a PWA so it installs to a home screen without an app store.
- Backend: Supabase: Postgres for data, authentication, and database functions in PL/pgSQL.
- Workflow: Work went through pull requests, about 73 of them in six weeks, rather than straight to main.
What went wrong / what I learned
Scope. A social network is several products at once: a feed, accounts, content, moderation. I got the core working and then paused before every part was finished. [Say in your own words why you paused it and what you'd do differently.]
The first prototype was made with Lovable, an AI app builder. I then built the app with an AI coding assistant as pair programmer; the design, the architecture and the testing are mine.

Development is paused. The live demo works, but some features are unfinished. Best on a phone. The source is private.
