Majd Lahbib

I build games where AI is the hidden engine, and I develop board and video games with a real studio.

Experience

A real studio, a real game.

Game Developer · Teomach Games, Edinburgh · Jul 2025 – Jun 2026 · age 16–17 · paid, remote

I brought Pivot, a 2–5 player economic board game, to the screen. Credited as a developer on BoardGameGeek, at 16.

Pivot is designed by Tom Inglis and published by Teomach Games, with a Kickstarter planned for early 2027. I built the Tabletop Simulator edition with its rules automation in Lua (free on Steam Workshop), started and helped build the Board Game Arena version, and got a virtualtabletop.io version most of the way before my final school year paused it. 260 commits over a year, alongside school.

Pixel Publisher

A publishing tycoon where an AI reads the story you actually wrote.

Write a real short story, pay the printer, and a language model plays critic and market: reviews, social posts about your plot, and a week-by-week sales curve. Rent is due evrey month. One HTML file, no build step, runs on Gemini, OpenAI or an offline engine.

Why: the GTA VI "no AI" debate made me wonder about a different use for AI. Not replacing artists, but NPCs and a world that react to anything you do. I don't have a AAA studio, so I built the closest thing I could.

halfway through, Google retired the model name the game used. Now it asks your key which models exist and picks a working one by itself.

Keep Going: Trick Box

A 3D puzzle game about a red box. Made alone, no AI, at 15.

Guide a red box through levels that are each built around one trick. It started in Unity as Just Keep Going, then I rebuilt it from scratch in Godot. Both self-taught, both on itch.io, and the first time I learned that level design is harder than code.

Project Studio

Run a film studio. The AI reads your screenplay, scene by scene.

The successor to Pixel Publisher. Pick genre, tone and ending, shape the script through a writers' room, then face critics who quote your actual scenes. Controller support, top-down pixel art, one design language across every screen.
